2. The short version

This website uses no cookies, no analytics and no advertising trackers. Fonts are served from this website itself, without any connection to Google. Personal data is only processed when you contact us, sign up for the newsletter or book a call.

3. Hosting and server logs

The website is hosted by Netlify, Inc., 101 2nd Street, San Francisco, CA 94105, USA. When you visit the site, the host automatically processes technical data such as your IP address, the time of access, the page requested and your browser type. This is necessary to deliver the website securely (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Transfers to the USA are based on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.

4. Fonts

All fonts are stored on and served from this website itself. Your browser does not connect to Google or any other font provider.

5. Inquiry form

When you send an inquiry, we process the details you enter (name, organisation, email, phone, preferred dates, message) and the language of the page to answer your request and prepare a possible engagement (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). Submissions are received through Netlify Forms and forwarded to us by email. We delete inquiries that do not lead to a collaboration after 12 months at the latest, unless statutory retention periods apply.

6. Newsletter “Notes from the Fire”

If you subscribe, we use your email address, your first name if given, your selected topics and the language of the page to send you the newsletter. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can withdraw consent at any time via the unsubscribe link in every newsletter or by email to georg@mr-belly.com. We keep your data until you unsubscribe.

7. Booking a call

The button “Choose a time” takes you to a booking page operated by Google (Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland). No data is sent to Google until you click the button. On Google's page, Google's own privacy policy applies. We receive the details you enter there in order to hold the appointment (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).

8. Links to Instagram and other sites

This website links to Instagram and to the World Barbecue Association. These are plain links: no content from these services is loaded on our pages, and no data is transferred until you click a link.

9. Your rights

To exercise these rights, email georg@mr-belly.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, in Portugal the Comissão Nacional de Proteção de Dados (cnpd.pt).
